Hermify vs PAIO

If you are running OpenClaw on PAIO, here is what you get when you switch to Hermify.

PAIO is a managed host for OpenClaw — Nous Research's earlier agent project. Hermify hosts Hermes Agent, the newer self-improving successor. If you came in through PAIO and want a more polished experience with native multilingual support, here is the comparison and a clean migration path.

Why people migrate from PAIO to Hermify

Hermes Agent is the actively-developed successor to OpenClaw.

Hermify gives you the same managed experience plus a richer dashboard, more model providers, and native multilingual support.

Migration is straightforward: bring your API key, connect Telegram, run on Hermes within minutes.

Different agent stacks: OpenClaw vs Hermes Agent

OpenClaw is Nous Research's earlier open-source agent. PAIO hosts it as a managed service.

Hermes Agent is the newer self-improving Nous Research agent — better tooling, better memory, better skills system, and active development. Hermify is the managed home for it.

Dashboard, persona, and skills

PAIO offers basic configuration through its panel.

Hermify gives you a full web dashboard for persona editing, skills authoring, Telegram setup, and managed restart, all without touching SSH or Docker.

Export your OpenClaw config

Note your provider (OpenAI / OpenRouter / Anthropic) and API key, plus your Telegram bot token if you use one.

Sign up to Hermify

Pick a plan, connect Telegram, and paste your API key (Starter) or use included AI access (Pro / Dedicated).

Migrate persona and skills

Re-create persona in the dashboard. Hermify's skills format is generally simpler to maintain than OpenClaw's — most users find the migration takes under an hour.

Multilingual: native by default

PAIO and OpenClaw are primarily English-first.

Hermify ships with native English, Spanish, Portuguese, and French — interface, marketing, and assistant behavior are tuned in each language.

Pricing and plans

Hermify Starter ($19/mo) BYOK is comparable to PAIO's entry tier.

Hermify Pro ($29/mo) includes managed AI access — no separate provider account needed.

Hermify Dedicated ($49/mo) gives you a private server for higher loads or stricter isolation.

Hermify vs PAIO FAQ

Do I have to give up my API key when migrating?

No. Hermify Starter is BYOK — keep your existing OpenAI / OpenRouter / Anthropic key and plug it in. You can also try Hermify Pro for a managed experience without any keys.

Will my OpenClaw skills work on Hermify?

Hermify uses Hermes Agent's skill format, which is different. Most skills can be ported in under an hour; the new format is generally simpler to maintain.

Is Hermes Agent better than OpenClaw?

Hermes Agent is the newer self-improving Nous project with active development. For most users it is a clear upgrade. If you specifically need OpenClaw, PAIO remains a fine choice.

How long does migration take?

Around 10 minutes for Starter. Most of that is Telegram setup; everything else is point and click in the dashboard.

Can I run both PAIO and Hermify?

Yes. Many people run both during migration: keep PAIO/OpenClaw active while Hermify takes over. Cancel PAIO once you are confident.

What about my Telegram bot?

Telegram bot tokens are portable. Disconnect from PAIO, paste into Hermify, and your bot answers from the new agent immediately.
