No-code custom skills

AI agent with custom skills

Teach the assistant your workflow once. Reuse it forever.

Custom skills are how you turn a generic AI into your AI. Describe how you write emails, summarize meetings, or research a topic in plain language — and the assistant uses that pattern in every future conversation, with full memory of who you are.

Why skills beat custom GPTs

Custom GPTs are siloed: each lives in its own thread and they do not share memory.

Hermify skills are extensions of one assistant — same memory, same context, same conversation thread.

You can layer skills (research + summarize + draft) instead of switching between separate bots.

How skills work

Open the skills page in the dashboard, give the skill a name, and describe what it does in plain language. The assistant turns your description into a reusable pattern that fires whenever you invoke it (or automatically when context matches).

No code, no prompt engineering, no schemas. If you can write a Slack message, you can write a skill.

Examples

"Email reply": match my tone, use bullet points, never apologize for delay.

"Meeting summary": extract decisions, action items, and open questions from a transcript.

"Sales follow-up": research the company, draft a personalized message, schedule a reminder.

"Daily digest": every morning, summarize my open projects and remind me of next steps.

Skills + memory + Telegram

A skill on its own is a pattern. A skill with memory knows your context. A skill on Telegram fires from anywhere.

The combination is what makes Hermify feel like a real assistant — patterns you taught, applied with memory, available wherever you are.

AI agent custom skills FAQ

Are skills the same as custom GPTs?

No. Custom GPTs are isolated bots; you switch between them. Hermify skills are extensions of one assistant that share memory and context, so you can combine them in a single conversation.

Do I need to write code?

No. Skills are described in plain language. The assistant interprets and applies the pattern. No prompt templates, no schemas, no code.

Can I import skills from elsewhere?

You can paste any prompt template or instruction set into a new skill. Hermify treats it as the skill's description and applies it from then on.

How many skills can I have?

No hard limit. Most users build 5–15 skills that match their daily workflows.

Can skills call external tools or APIs?

Skills layer on top of the underlying Hermes Agent's tool support. If your provider supports tool calls, skills can invoke them.
